Company Completes Installation of 60-inch Second Supply Pipeline

Middlesex Water Company worked to maintain its strong infrastructure through system improvements, ongoing upgrades and maintenance.  In the summer of 2004, the  
Company began construction of a second raw
 

 

water pipeline from its Pump Station in the City of New Brunswick, near the Raritan River,  to the Company’s Water Treatment Plant in Edison. The pipeline was placed into service in March 2005.  The Company constructed the large 60-inch diameter pipeline to ensure backup water supply and additional high quality drinking water for customers in northern Middlesex County.
